Vintage Wheel-Thrown Speckled Glaze Stoneware Vessel, Circa 1970s

Vintage Wheel-Thrown Speckled Glaze Stoneware Vessel, Circa 1970s

$188.00

Vintage Wheel-Thrown Speckled Glaze Stoneware Vessel, Circa 1970s. Bulbous stoneware form with a raised lip and lightly-pronounced ribbing along the body. The glaze graduates from a heavily speckled mocha towards the base, dissipating as it travels up the body giving way to the greige glaze as it reaches the lip. The base/underside is left unglazed, revealing the natural material. Glazed on the interior as well. Unsigned.

CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition, light craquelure to the glaze from age, no flaws to note (as pictured)

SPECS: 8 1/4" H | 6" Diameter at Widest Point | 1 1/4" Opening | 2 7/8" Base Diameter
