Vintage Sterling Silver + 18K Gold Tiffany Co. Miniature Trunk Designed By Karel Bartosik, Circa 1980s. Bartosik is a renowned jeweler and miniaturist. He taught at the Royal College of Art in London with his work represented at the Victoria and Albert Museum. The trunk is complete with croc embossed surface texture, 18k gold hardware detailing + textured interior. The top handle and hinges are fully functional. Engraved on gold plaques at the back side, “Tiffany & Co” + “KTB”. The piece is also hallmarked and stamped 925 (sterling silver) + 750 (18 karat gold). Made in England. This work is an exceptionally rare collectors’ piece.
