Carved shell dish with footed shell base. The body of this shell has been cut to reveal its interior compartments, finished with leaf detailing across the surface. The interior of the dish shows off the natural pearlescent finish of this shell. The base and body are joined with a brass screw at the center interior. Circa 1940s.
