Vintage Abstract Carved Foam Sculpture Mounted on a Wood Plinth, Circa 1970s. Hand-carved, biomorphic form sculpted from a block of polyurethane foam. Mounted to a simplistic wooden plinth. Possibly a preliminary study for execution in different materials. Similar in concept to works by Henry Moore and John Chamberlain from the late ‘60s early ‘70s. Unsigned.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, light surface abrasions to the foam body with light surface variation commensurate with age and use (as pictured)
