Vintage Framed Vibrant Abstract Painting on Canvas, Circa 1960s. Cosmic in nature, the fiery cyclone blends with the other abstracted elements throughout the painting. All rendered in pastel tones with an airbrush-like quality. Set within a gilt wood frame. Signed whats appears to be “Alice Benjamin” in pencil on the reverse wood stretcher. Stamps on the stretcher also indicate it was originally retailed by The Little Gallery of East Newark, NJ.
Condition: Great vintage condition, a few old puncture repairs with surface inpainting (as pictured) barely visible and does not detract from the overall look.
