Vintage Art Glass Vase by Steven Correia, Circa 1985. Conical blown glass form with expertly trisected bands of color. The lower section is rendered in deep amethyst, gradating to a strip of clear and a vibrant blue band along the lip. Etched, “Correia VLCAQ 4.85.4” on the base.

Founded in 1973 by artist, Steven V. Correia, Correia Art Glass is a small family-owned glass studio in Santa Monica, California. Works by Correia can be found in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Corning Museum, the Smithsonian Institution and the Chrysler Museum of Art.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition, minimal surface wear commensurate with age and use (as pictured). A singular minor scratch approximately 1” length on the body of the vase, as pictured.
