Antique Edwardian Red + White Cotton Detachable Bosom, Circa Early 20th Century
Antique Edwardian Red + White Cotton Detachable Bosom, Circa Early 20th Century. A rare find, this piece is constructed from a heavily starched red cotton with contrast cream piping along the collar and button placket. Three collar studs affixed to the front have curious varied back designs, one of them a heart. Lined in cream cotton with a back piece complete with a maker stamp on the underside showing a Native American in full headdress. It’s possible this was used as a salesman sample, or store display. Unknown maker.
