Portmanteau Studio Project | Postmodern Memphis Design Welded Steel Settee, Circa 1980s. Postmodern design in the vein of the Memphis Milano Group, the piece is constructed from tubular welded steel, with triangular perforated backrests, and wood-capped arm rests. Reminiscent of works by Ettore Sottsass and Giandomenico Belotti, this piece is quite striking. Reupholstered in white slub textured fabric, and paired with a duo of custom-designed disc cushions for added comfort.
Condition: Great vintage condition with minimal wear to frame. Light surface scratching and finish variation. Reupholstered and new custom-designed pillows added.
