Vintage Postmodern Art Glass Footed Bowl, By Pizzichillo and Gordon, Circa 1990s. Designed by the talented glass-blowing team of Bruce Pizzichillo and Dari Gordon. “Inspired by nature’s dazzling genius, they boldly use rich, romantic colors in both opaque and transparent glass, they have been working in glass since 1980.” Their studio is located in Oakland, California. A minimal blown glass bowl form, the bright red ground is bisected by a blue spiral from the base. Simplistic blue glass platform base and rim. Signed on the side of the base “Pizzichillo Gordon”. This piece also works well as a vase.
