Vintage Sarsaparilla Cobalt Hand-Blown Glass Clam Shell Sconces, A Pair, Circa 1980s. Art Deco inspired, these lamps resemble earlier examples from the 1930s. Produced in New Jersey, the sconces feature a hand blown cobalt glass body with black painted metal frame. The gorgeous deep blue undulating glass is ribbed along the body with a scalloped top edge. Wired as plug-in sconces, they can also be hardwired. Each retains its original Sarsaparilla label on the back, with details about the glass.
Sold as a pair.
Condition: Great vintage condition. Light areas of paint loss on screws, and a couple very small chip on the interior of the top edge (not visible from exterior of lamp).
