Vintage Rococo-Style Filigree Frame Mirror by Syroco, Circa 1940s
Vintage Rococo-Style Filigree Frame Mirror by Syroco, Circa 1940s. Hollywood Regency in style, this piece is similar to works by Serge Roche. Desired for their intricate detailing and lightweight quality, Syroco frames were constructed from a mix of wood compound and casting fluid poured into a mold. A deep chestnut finish has been applied to the surface of this piece, adding depth and accenting the molded leaf detailing. An original foil label is visible on the top backside of the frame. New mirrored glass panel, assembled in-house.
Condition: Great vintage condition. Minimal surface wear, with small areas of finish variation as detailed in images. A new glass mirror panel has been added, in-house. Retains original foil label on the back.
