Vintage Black + White Wood-Mounted Photo Puzzle of Worcester Trolly Depot, Circa 1940s-50s. The image itself likely pre-dates its use in the construction of the jigsaw puzzle, featuring the Worcester Consolidated Street Railway co. in the 1910s-20s. The building, originally located at 99-109 Main St., was the car barn for the Worcester Consolidated Street Railway, which operated streetcars (under Worcester Consolidated Street Railway and later Worcester Street Railway Co.) from 1907 to 1945, when streetcars were discontinued. The structure sits at the center of the image, with serval figures caught in motion around the entrance. This twenty-one piece puzzle is mounted to thick, laminated wood. Retains original box paper box. Unsigned.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, light areas of spotting to photo surface and box (as pictured).
