Victorian Painted Wicker Clover Top Tripod Table with Stick + Ball Detailing, Circa 1880s. Exquisite form and detailing from the Victorian period, this table features a clover-shaped tabletop with a braided edge and stick & ball skirt detail. The tripod base is fashioned from three crossed legs, with spiraling wrapped wicker details. Each leg terminated in a brass cap foot. The full body is painted a deep hunter green. Unsigned, but retains a partial original paper label on the underside of the tabletop, now illegible.
Condition: Excellent antique condition. Overall surface wear present with natural paint variation. One small area of paint loss visible on tabletop surface as detailed in images. One early loss of lower leg wrapped wicker, before the green paint was applied.
