Antique Gilt Chip-Carved Tramp Frame With Mirror, Circa Early 20th Century. Tramp frames were often carved from cigar boxes or any scrap wood available at the time. This piece incorporates six carved layers with a gilt surface paint added to the surface. Exaggerated layering at the corners adds interest. Paired with a new mirrored glass panel. Artist unknown.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with minimal surface wear and gilt finish variation. Antique frame was paired with new mirrored glass.
