Antique Collage Cut Mica Leaves Cross Collage on Polished Cotton, Circa Late 19th Century. Hand-cut layered leaves made of mica, each hand-stitched to a surface of deep brown polished cotton in the form of a cross. A very rare find, we have not found other examples of mica artwork. This piece also retains its original mahogany frame with gilt liner and glass. Artist unknown.
