Rare Antique Victorian Folding Walnut Wall Rack with Mirror, Circa Mid-Late 19th Century. A rare folding wall rack, this piece is able to collapse and expand, creating various shapes based on how its placed. Its uniqueness lies in the central mirror, similar to the look of a hand-mirror turned on end. Nine (9) turned wood hooks also act as pivot points for the folding function of the piece. Each knob is topped with a white ceramic stud (one missing). The rack retains its original glass mirror.
Condition: Excellent antique condition. Very small areas of wear to wood frame. One ceramic cap is missing and small chips are present on another. Original glass mirror is intact and in excellent condition with only light areas of finish variation and fogging (as detailed in images).
Specs: 30 1/2” fully collapsed height, 26” max width when hung, 29 1/4” max height when hung, 5” total depth. 8 1/2” height of mirror, 5 1/2” width of mirror.
