Antique Federal Split-Mirror with Barley Twist and Acorn Details, Circa Mid 19th Century. Federal era dark wood frame wall mirror with two panes of mirrored glass, split with a horizontal incised strip of wood. The antiqued mirrors are framed between a pair of carved barley twist columns, each terminating in vertically striped bases. Features an extended crest shelf with acorn detailing at the top of the mirror.
Condition: Great antique condition, wear and surface variation commensurate with age and use. Small loss to the right corner of the shelf with light splitting along the veneer at the base of the mirror (as pictured).
