Vintage Mid-Century Brutalist Monumental Metal "Ribbon" Lamp by Harry Balmer for Laurel, Circa 1960s. Designed by artist, Harry Balmer, for the Laurel Lamp Manufacturing Company Inc., this large-scale lamp is centered around a swooping torch-cut steel sculpture, elegantly twisted into its configuration. Mounted to a black painted square plinth base. Shown paired with a vintage finial and conical linen shade, sold separately. Unlabeled.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition, light surface wear throughout commensurate with age and use (as pictured). One small area of heavier finish variation as detailed in images. The painted metal base has one rear scratch, as shown.
