Vintage Mid Century Hardoy / BKF / Butterfly Chair produced by Knoll
The Iconic Hardoy Chair also referred to as the BKF Chair and Butterfly Chair. Originally conceived in 1938 by Argentinian design trio: Antonio Bonet, Juan Kurchan + Jorge Ferrari Hardoy (hence, BKF). This rare 1950s iteration features the original white metal frame and leather sling seat. Beautifully aged leather with contrast stitch, reinforced with original brass staples.
Condition: Great vintage condition. Patina and wear consistent with age and use. Additional photos available upon request.

Did Ya Know: The Hardoy was canonized by the MoMa before enjoying a limited production run stateside by Artek-Pascoe and Knoll between 1948-1951. Knoll ceased production due to the increasing number of unlicensed reproductions flooding the market.
