Rare Antique Mottled Bamboo Corner Chair, Circa Late 19th Century. The body of this piece is constructed from bamboo shafts in varying sizes with a solid wood seat. Spoke back and natural root ball details at the ends of the armrests and top of back rest. The seat was likely originally covered in a grasscloth or fabric which can be easily reupholstered if the buyer chooses.

Condition: Great antique condition. Original grasscloth / fabric seat covering is missing, but looks excellent with the solid wood seat. One bamboo spoke missing on the back base of chair, barely noticeable. Overall finish variation, commensurate with age and use.
