Vintage Spherical Black + White Raku Pottery Vessel with Applied Figure, Circa 1990s. Two-piece vessel, split along the center incorporating a central hole in the lid. The applied figure with pigtails is glazed in white and positioned looking into the interior. Fully glazed in a vibrant lava red on the interior. Works well as a small storage box, a vase for dried florals or stand-alone sculpture. Unsigned.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Natural craquelure throughout glazed surfaces from raku firing. No flaws.
