White ceramic Nemadji “Indian River” bulb vase with marbled surface design in shades of electric orange, bright blue, brown and black. Produced in the Arrowhead region of Minnesota. Stamped on the underside of the base.
Small Nemadji-style vase with a marbled surface design in shades of orange, green and black. Unbranded.

No two pieces of Nemadji pottery are exactly the same. The surface finishing employs a technique that involves dipping the unglazed bisque pottery into a vat of water with paint separated by vinegar. This process creates a unique marbled design.
