Antique North Carolina Thrown Pottery Vessel With Double-Handle, Circa Mid 19th Century. A gorgeous minimal hand-thrown form produced for utilitarian use. Bulbous body with slim neck and hand-pulled double handle detail. These pieces have visible history and show their years of use. The surface of the vessel is a matte taupe pottery with hits of tan and rust at the neck and handles. Sourced in North Carolina, likely used as storage for molasses. Perfect for use as a vase.
