Vintage Memphis Style Box by Hollis Fingold for Radar Design Inc, Circa 1989. Sculptural and playful, this lidded box features a striking color palette of turquoise, dusty pink, periwinkle blue and dandelion yellow with black accents. This hand-painted work by the artist is complete with a matching attached interior cushion and is raised upon four triangular feet. Signed by the artist on the underside and retains original Radar Design Inc. silver foil label.
Hollis Fingold exhibited her first commercial pieces at an NYC show in 1985. She was well known in the 80s & 90s for her functional art. In 1986, Radar Design Inc. in Denver, Colorado began producing her limited edition work under her supervision.
Condition: Great vintage condition. Light wear to base of each foot as shown in photos and slight color variation across the piece.
