Vintage Art Deco "Skyscraper" Stepped Tubular Brass + Teak Sculptural Vase, Circa 1940s. Simplistic modernist sculpture with three gradating tubular brass stems mounted to a teak disc base, lined in felt. Likely a handmade piece. Reminiscent of works by Ystad and Walter Von Nessen for Chase Brass + Copper Company. Best for use with dried stems, as a candleholder or standalone sculpture. Unsigned.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, light surface variation present throughout, wear commensurate with age and use (as pictured). One small indentation in the lip of a singular brass tube.
