Vintage Art Deco "Skyscraper" Stepped Monax Glass + Chrome Flush Mounts by MacBeth-Evans, A Pair, Circa 1930s. Striking pair of stepped, translucent glass shades with matching biconic, stepped chrome bases. Produced by MacBeth-Evans Glass Company, etched “Macbeth Monax” on the shade.
The Macbeth-Evans Glass Company was founded in 1899, best known for its depression-era glassware. Monax glass is similar to milk glass, yet more delicate in its material and translucence. The firm merged with Corning Glass in 1936. This set of lamps predates the merger.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition, will need to be rewired to hardwire as flush mounts.
