Antique Treen Banks, Late 19th-Early 20th Century.
The first bank is modeled after a work bench with minimal detailing and a central slot on the top surface for currency. Wood panel construction, tacked together with nails. Circa early 20th century. Unsigned.
The second bank is a beehive form with a ribbed, turned wood body and a top finial detail, Circa late 19th century. The body and lid are connected by a large central screw that inserts into the underside of the base. A slot cut within the lid accepts currency. Unsigned.
SOLD SEPARATELY
Condition: Both banks are in excellent antique condition as detailed in images. Light surface wear and finish variation commensurate with age and use. The screw within the beehive bank has become slightly loose, but still holds the lid and base together.
