Vintage Sculptural Hand-Woven Reed Mushroom Table Lamp with Splayed Base, Circa 1960s. The body and shade are completely woven from natural reeds in varying patterns, joined by an interior dowel structure and finished with a splayed woven base. Finely constructed, similar fabrication is typically found in basket form. When lit, the shade’s open weave allows for a beautifully diffused glow. Unbranded and likely produced outside the US. Rewired, includes ball-chain pull switch.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, shows minimal wear to woven body of lamp with a few small breaks in woven reed strands.
