Vintage Mounted Helmet Conch Shell Lamp, Circa 1950s. Two beautiful conch shell specimens cleverly affixed to one another with square steel nuts and hooks to create this lighting feature. The larger “king” shell on top has a creamy, opaque quality which perfectly aids the soft, warm glow when lit. The lower form is turned face down creating a natural support base. Mounted to a minimal stepped wood base. Unsigned, likely produced in Brazil.
Condition: A few small natural imperfections to the shells and light wear to the wood base (as pictured). A couple areas of light surface abrasion.
