Vintage Large-Scale Portuguese Folk Art Fisherman Lamp by Olaria Duarte Lisboa, Circa 1950s. Substantial hand-built clay sculptural form fashioned after a fisherman proudly displaying his catch. The figure is smartly dressed in a navy button down shirt, brown trousers and a soft cap. With a pleasant disposition, he holds a large fish before him, potentially a red mullet. Stamped “OLARIA DUARTE LISBOA” on the lower backside of the lamp. Fully glazed. Paired with a conical lampshade.

Condition: Great vintage condition, very minor glaze imperfections throughout. A couple small glaze chips, presents a small divot by the lamp post on the head from production where the post was originally planned (as pictured).
