Vintage Denis Vibert Pine Tree Kiln Maine Studio Mottled Glaze Ceramic Lamp, Circa 1950s

Vintage Denis Vibert Pine Tree Kiln Maine Studio Mottled Glaze Ceramic Lamp, Circa 1950s
Gorgeous, hand-thrown 1950s bottle lamp by master potter, Denis Vibert. Crafted at Pine Treen Kiln in Sullivan, Maine - the studio he shared with his wife, Ruth, who ran the gallery. The body is made of terracotta with a matte blue mottled/speckled glaze. Modern, simplistic silhouette narrowing as it works its way from the base to the neck which is capped with a teak ring. Vibert’s pieces are highly-collectible and hard to come by. Signed by the artist “Vibert Maine” on the base. Paired with a linen, conical shade.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, no notable flaws
Size Me Up: 14 3/4” H (including shade), 10 1/4” H (socket to base), 5” Diameter at base, 9” Shade diameter
