Rare Vintage Large Scale "Mondrian" Ceramic Lamps by Bitossi for Raymor, A Pair, Circa 1960s. Monumental, bulbous terracotta forms with a beautifully textured surface. Glazed in color-blocked shades of black, mocha and white with natural hints of the textured terracotta revealed beneath. Each lamp alternates in blocks of color, offering different views of the design. Designed by Bitossi’s historical art director, Aldo Londi, these were inspired by Piet Mondrian works and produced for the Raymor Import Collection circa 1960s. Stamped “Italy” on the base. An extremely scarce style in scale, form and colorway.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition, and very light surface wear. The metal rod neck of each lamp shows areas of finish variation.
