Vintage Maple Photo Frame Designed by Agnes Bourne for Terragrafics, Circa 1993. Gorgeous Birdseye maple with beautiful graining. The top and bottom of frame have black wood ball detaining very much in the vein of Memphis Design. Fits up to 3 1/8” x 3 1/8” Photo.
Agnes Bourne is a noted designer who still produces today and has works in the permeant collection of the Cooper Hewitt Museum.
“Agnes Bourne studied art and architecture in Florence, Italy, received a B.A. in Studio Art and Art History from Mills College, and then a Certificate of Design from the Rudolph Schaeffer School of Design in San Francisco. She has designed for residential and commercial buildings, product design, and set design. In 1987, she introduced the Agnes Bourne Collection of furniture. She has received praise in the form of medals, and twice, she was called one of “The 101 Most Influential Designers at Work in America Today” - Cooper Hewitt
