Did Ya Know: This iconic design is on exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art and on permanent display at the Danish Museum of Modern Art. Hopea was one of several Finnish designers to dramatically change the way glassware was designed and used. Along with Kaj Franck, they wanted to create "everyday objects of more beauty" for all consumers. This pitcher, along with its matching stackable glass (#1718), share the same basic form and are uncluttered and proportionally balanced.
