Vintage Art Deco Industrial Style Acrylic on Canvas Painting, Circa 1950s. The artist expertly used warm, natural hues to convey a rather severe, industrial cityscape. The tall, linear buildings overlap, blend and morph into one another. The piece seems to serve as an homage or critique of the industrial era and the boom of big business. A singular banner floats among the landscape noting, “LOOM 18.” Framed in a tonal, eggshell painted wood floater frame. Unsigned.
Condition: Great vintage condition, art and frame show signs of wear commensurate with age and use (as pictured). Artwork is in great condition with light surface paint crackling, does not affect stability of the piece.
