Vintage Grey Painted Stool with Hat Rack Storage, Circa 1920s-30s. Constructed from poplar with layers of later black, red and gray paint. The top surface of the stool shows a gorgeous craquelure, revealing the previous painted layers and original stained finish. A central knob on the underside of the stool was designed for hat storage, originally used by the US Military. Unbranded.
Condition: Great vintage condition, surface craquelure showing various levels of earlier paint.
